just about anything can pull a small bass boat. some are so light that you can lift up the trailer by hand and move it around the driveway.
So, I’d say a VW beetle, a Yugo, heck a golf cart.

Actually, ever-since uni-body construction, and front wheel drive, most small cars do not have the capacity to tow even the smallest bass-boats. Some of the SUVs like the Rav4 and Jeeps will, but I don’t like them due to the rollover risk, because of the short wheel base.

Some People don’t agree with me, but I found years ago that Vans make better tow vehicles than pick-ups. These days a Mini-van with a V-6 would be my vehicle of choice for a tow vehicle for a bass boat. Or a Ford 150 crew cab. with a V-6.

=== a Ford Ranger with a 6 cylinder engine will work fine … if I were you I would check with the trailer sales folks before buying a vehicle that may or may NOT pull the weight of the bass boat out of the water and up the launch ramp …. it ain’t rocket science… you do need to check the total weight of the boat and trailer and possibly consider that the boat has water inside ((it happens)) and all the gear, ice, live wells, gasoline ((fuel weight)) ….. better to know and buy correct vehicle…
